7th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Extravaganza – Saturday, June 1, 2013Gospel music, the uniquely American art form that gave rise to jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll, will be celebrated in all of its glory as the City of Gaithersburg presents the 7th Annual Jubilation Day Gospel Extravaganza.On Saturday, June 1, 2013, from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Concert Pavilion at City Hall will host performances of all styles of Christian music and worship by local and regional choirs, choruses, quartets, dancers, and soloists. The celebration will also feature food and crafts for purchase.Gaithersburg’s Concert Pavilion is located at 31 South Summit Avenue in front of City Hall. Admission to Jubilation Day is free. The outdoor venue features lawn seating with limited chairs. Please feel free to bring your own chair or blanket.
